Receiving the 1st Clue

I loved my grandmother, Grace Cahill, who looked after my older sister Amy and I when our parents died in a tragic fire in our home in 2001. Ever since then, our grandmother was everything to us and now she was gone, too. Today we find ourselves at my grandmother's funeral. There were over 400 people who attended the service and I think that most of them were there expecting to receive something when my grandmother's Will was going to be read. All those with gold invitations, my sister and I included, gathered in my grandmother's home and waited for her lawyer and executor, Mr. McIntyre. Mr. McIntyre played a video of my grandmother. My grandmother, in her video, said, that we could take a bank voucher for $1,000,000 or receive 1 of 39 clues that would lead us to receive the most important treasure in the world and make us powerful beyond belief. My sister and I chose the clues.
